Breeder members have agreed to abide by the Guilds code of ethics. The Guild encourages breeder members to take part in having their catteries veterinary  inspected. Catteries are to be inspected for good husbandry, hygiene and sufficient space for either adults or the raising of kittens.

Breeders that have their catteries inspected by a veterinarian and have been passed by the Guild, will have a star rating along side their cattery name.

Kittens must be free of any  apparent ailment when passing to their new homes. They must also have the minimum inoculations for enteritis and cat flu: the breeder must supply you with the vaccination certificate, pedigree, registration papers, and a feeding/advise sheet. Any withholding of the of the registration papers must be agreed in writing  by the purchaser at the time of sale. All kittens sold as pets must be neutered or spayed at the appropriate age by the new owner. It is advised that the kittens are  seen with their mothers, or the mother and the father if the breeder owns the stud. The breeders list will be regularly up dated.
PLEASE REMEMBER when you are visiting kittens you are going into the cats and peoples homes not a shop where people come and go as they wish, please take this into consideration, try not to invite the whole family to come along with you, young kittens can become overwhelmed by large groups of people. If your  are taking children with you please keep them in order and under control. Visiting kittens is strictly by appointment only, if you can not keep your appointment  or you are going to be late it is common courtesy to tell the breeder they will appreciate you letting them know.
