VALIDATIONS

Hello everyone, let me introduce myself, my name is Lynne Geary and I am your new Validations Officer for the Maine Coon Guild.

I have been a member of the Guild and have been showing my cats for the last 6 years. My first Maine Coon is now European Premier Kassaro Texussilver - Merlin has now been retired from the show bench, but I am sure some of you out there remember him. I have been extremely lucky and have achieved many titles with my cats which include George (British Shorthair) also a European Premier, Chilli (Maine Coon) a Champion, she just missed out on her International title, Peaches (Maine Coon) who has just achieved her International Champion title, Lily (Maine Coon) who has also just achieved her Champion title and my new breed the Siberian. I have three Siberians, two of which have done well on the show scene, Vassiliy is well on his way to his Grand International Champion title, Anya who has achieved her Champion title and Anastasia who has yet to be shown. I am extremely proud of all my cats and hope that they continue to do well.

As I am new to the post of Validations Officer, please bear with my as I am trying to find my feet. I am hoping to have your validations done as quickly as possible as I know some of you have had to wait sometime. To help me with the process I would like to let you all know how I would like your paperwork so I can return all documents and rosettes as quickly as possible. Below you will find the MAINE COON GUILD VALIDATION FORM which I need completed for every single validation.

In the top right hand corner is a list of all documents that I will need, these include the cheque, original pedigree, original certificate of award cards, original judges reports and photocopies of your award cards and judges reports. The reason I need photocopies of your award cards and judges reports is that I need to retain this as a check for your validation and as I do not have access to a copier I would very much appreciate it if you could arrange for these to be copied before you send your paperwork, obviously all your originals will all be returned to you. Also listed on the form is your requirements and optional extras with all costs involved. As I attend most FB shows I am willing to hand deliver your validations/rosettes/paperwork etc. if you indicate on the form which shows you will be attending, if you are not attending any shows everything will be posted to you.
